The Osaka Aquarium is enormous and extremely well designed. The layout of the
building mimics "The Ring of Fire" the ring of geologically unstable land masses surrounding the pacific that are prone
to earthquakes. Each aquarium represents an area around the ring simulating a wide array of climates - everything from
Antarctica and it's King Penguins to Sea Turtles in the Cook Strait. And in the center - the Pacific Ocean. The Pacific Ocean
tank includes two HUGE Whale Sharks - very impressive. You enter the aquarium from the top and gradually circle your way
around to the bottom allowing you to see all levels of each aquarium from surface to floor.
