Negishi Park is near the American military base in Yokohama and is famous for its Sakura (Cherry) blossoms in early spring. Unfortunately, these pictures were taken about a week after the Sakura season and so there aren't any flowers left - just the red stems. But just imagine what this hill (left) would look like completely covered in pink, nearly white, blossoms. And while you're at it, imagine the thousands of people that covered the park! There are, however, a wide assortment of other flowers in Negishi Park as well (right).
