Motomati was the original foreign settlement in Yokohama, but was devastated by the great Kanto earthquake in 1923. Nowadays it is a very avant-garde shopping area surrounded by historical sites of interest and affluent homes. Given the choice of anywhere in Yokohama to live, I'd live here.
